S.A.R.M.A
Exhibition of Veerle Michiels
For the project S.A.R.M.A, during the art edition Kunst & Zwalm, Veerle Michiels collaborated with Manoeuvre to create a collective landscape drawing, a sequence of memorized walking on the score of mental landscapes, narrated and depicted by people of diverse origins. The feeling of a drawing is physically placed in space.
Located in the heart of Ghent's super-diverse Rabot neighborhood, manoeuvre opts for a co-creative arts practice with local residents, artists, makers, thinkers... Open collaborative models are worked on where Manoeuvre builds a collective body of work where the residents enter into dialogue with the context of the studio. The residency program is aimed at visual artists with co-creative ambitions. (Manoevre VZW, sd)
